Make Authentic Maharashtrian Style Spicy Mirchi Cha Thecha(Green Chilies Chutney)
We all know that India is very much known for the varieties of food and endless varieties of chutney and sauces.
The same chutney made in one part of India is made in some other way other part of the world. This completely adds new dimension to the taste and the texture of the chutney.
One of the well-known chutney is what we call as “Mirchi Cha Thecha” or “Mirchi Kharda” is traditional Maharashtrian chutney which can be eaten with Bakri and can also be added in the food to spice it up as well.
In this blog, you will learn to make authentic spicy Maharashtrian style Mirchi Cha Thecha.
Ingredients Required:
- Green Chilies
- Garlic
- Coriander Leaves
- Peanuts
Step by Step Making of Mirchi Kharda:
Step 1: Take Kadhai and heat about 1 tbsp oil in medium flame
Step 2: After that add green chilies into it and shallow fry
Step 3: After that, add cloves of garlic into it and shallow fry it for some time.
Please note for safety reasons, cover the kadhai with lid as chilies might pop.
Step 4: Take some peanuts and roast in pan for some time.
Step 5: After that, add the roasted peanuts into the mixture of mirchi and garlic. And mix it well.
Step 6: Allow the mixture to cool down.
Step 7: Transfer the mixture into the grinder and grind it along with coriander and salt to taste.
You can also use the stone to grind the mixture for the perfect coarse texture.
Now, you can enjoy the freshly prepared Mirchi Ka Thecha along with bhakri, thalipeeth, etc
