Make Non Yeast Tawa Pizza at Home


The word pizza is Greek in origin and comes from the Greek word pktos, which means firm or clotted. The modern pizza was first created in Naples, Italy. The Greeks of antiquity topped their bread with cheese, herbs, and oils. The inclusion of tomato as a topping was the first significant development that resulted in flat bread pizza. The pizza originated when the underprivileged residents of the Naples region would frequently add tomato to their yeast-based flat bread.Ingredients

Ingredients :-

For tawa pizza dough

1 cup All purpose flour , मैदा

¼  cup Wheat flour , गेहूं का आटा

1 tsp Baking powder, बेकिंग पाउडर

1 tsp Baking soda , बेकिंग सोडा

1 tbsp Oil , तेल

Salt to taste , नमक स्वादअनुसार

3 tbsp Curd , दही

For Topping

2 tbsp Olive oil , तेल

2 Capcium Sliced , शिमलामिर्च

1 Onion, Sliced, प्याज

3-4 Mushroom, Sliced , मशरूम

1 Tomato, sliced,  टमाटर

Salt to taste ,  नमक स्वादअनुसार

1 tsp Chilli flakes, चिल्ली फ्लक्स

1 tsp Oregano ,  ऑरेगैनो

4-5 Basil leaves, बेसिल लीव्स

For Sauce


1 tbsp  Oil,  तेल

2-3  Garlic, Chopped, लहसुन

1 medium Onion, Chopped, प्याज

½ cup fresh Tomato Puree, टमाटर प्यूरी

½ tsp Sugar, चीनी

½ tsp Vinegar, सिरका

Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार

½ tsp Oregano , ऑरेगैनो

½ tsp Chilli flakes , चिल्ली फ्लक्स

⅓ cup Mozzarella cheese or Pizza cheese , grated , मोज़ेरेला चीज




Instruction :-

For pizza dough

  • Combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, oil, salt, and curd in a sizable mixing basin.
  • When necessary, add water to create soft dough. Knead the dough for about 5 to 6 minutes, or until it becomes very soft but not sticky.
  • This should be covered and left alone for about an hour.


For topping

  • Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onion, capcium, mushroom, tomato, salt to taste, chilli flakes, oregano toss the vegetable well and keep it aside in a refrigerator.

For sauce

  • Heat the oil in the same pan, add the chopped onion and garlic, and cook until the onions are transparent.
  • Combine freshly made tomato puree, sugar, vinegar, and salt to taste.


  • Add oregano and chilli flakes, stir well, drain off most of the water, and set the mixture aside.

For Making pizza


  • Split the dough into two to three pieces. Roll it out somewhat thicker than a chapati and gently duster the rolling board. And around the dough, poke it with a fork.
  • The rolled dough will now be placed on a hot flat pan and cooked correctly on one side over a low flame.
    • Begin by putting a spoonful of tomato sauce around the bread before flipping it over and heating it on the other side in low heat. Then, grate some mozzarella cheese and evenly distribute it.
    • Evenly distribute the toss veggies and sprinkle with a few basil leaves.
    • Top with more cheese.
    • On a low flame, cover the pan and cook until the cheese starts to melt.
    • Take it out and spread some olive oil all over.
